Looking At Alphas "Gaslight"

It looks like Alphas went on the creepy side this week as Gaslight took Rosen's team through a seemly haunted hospital. Well not haunted, but the atmosphere of one as the team faced their worst nightmares. Gaslight also marked the return of Nina and the beginning of her attempt to reconcile with those she hurt. Nina works with Rosen to figure out what Staton Parish is up to.

So in Gaslight, Rosen, Hicks and Harken are deployed to the hospital to help a troubled alpha who is seeing and hearing his dead sister. Just as everything seems to be fine, the alpha escapes and the search for him begins. The situation turns towards the creepy as Rachel is grabbed by the alpha, and the team becomes separated. Each person sees different things and the phase "I'm drowning" appears. With this, it marks the return of Anna as she appears in front of Gary. Unlike when she was alive, Anna can speak and talks with Gary. Gary knows shes not real, but enjoys her company anyways. As for everyone else, Bill fights himself, Hicks sees his son heading to the morgue, and Rachel sees Nina attempting to kill her. In a way, these events brought out the most primal fears and worries for alphas.

Other than the hospital, Nina and Rosen were on a mission of their own as Rosen asks Nina to use her ability on a Senator connected to Parish. I begin to worry for Rosen and his obsession as he heads head first after his target. He asked Nina to help him, when he should have been helping her recover from her crime spree. I feel that this could be the rise and fall of Rosen. This could be what Parish wanted in the first place. I do know that Parish needs to be stopped, but I'm wondering how far will Rosen go to do it.

Another good episode from Alphas though as I felt it developed the characters for Gary and Rosen. The question is now, what is Staton Parish really up to?
