Supernatural Spoilers: The Winchesters Won't Be Seperated Long

With Comic On starting today and the Supernatural panel this coming Sunday, there is a lot of spoilers coming our way. Most recently in the TV Guide Supernatural Edition. Inside the pages contains interviews with spoilerish information. So today, I'm going to break it down and spell out my hopes for Season 8 which is currently being filmed. Which happened to be another Jensen Ackles directorial project, which is currently (and rumored) to be titled Heartache. Spoilers Below:

• On the topic, we are going to see a new love interest for Sam in a doctor named Amelia and she will be played by Liane Balaban. Her character will be a “tragedy-damaged soul” that “soon reveals herself to be a brave, sweet, smart, sarcastic woman.” Sam has no chance.
•  Fans can be relieved to hear that Sam and Dean will not be separated for long since the show is doing a time jump to where Dean got out of Purgatory. So no, the show will not be around Sam looking for a way to get Dean out of Purgatory. How long though is not known. Don't worry though, its not like Supernatural is going to forget about it, but instead will tell the time spent in flashbacks throughout the season.
• But what about Castiel? Will be he returning? The answer for now is "Yes", but its unknown how long he will appear. Although I thought there could be a chance of Misha Collins returning as a season regular, but oh well.
• Like Season 7, Season 8 has a theme of Raiders of The Lost Ark. Why that theme? Since the reveal of the Word of God, Season 8 will explore the secret of the tablets of the Word of God. Which means we'll be seeing more of Kevin Tran next season. It's a good thing too since Kevin is such an awesome character.
• In Season 8, Jeremy Carver is taking over as showrunner and like Sera Gamble, he is trying to bring back the tones from earlier seasons. Carver is going to try to give Season 8 the feeling of Season 2 and 3 before all the mythology kicked in. Although I am very excited to see what Carver does with Season 8.
• What is the next big bad in store for Sam and Dean? Well it is not known right now, but the word is on the net that there is going to be a battle between Angels and Demons. Most likely Angels trying to stop Crowley in his quest to find and read all the words of God. Should be interesting.
• Last but not least, it is rumored that fan favorite characters like Jody Mills, Garth and Charlie could possibly be returning to the show. I personally would like to see Jody Mills and her possible journey to be a hunter. There is also a new recurring character coming to Supernatural. It is a monster that Dean meet in Purgatory, but will he (or she ) be an ally? This could go either way.

Are you glad Sam and Dean won't be separated for long? Cause fans don't like it when Sam and Dean are separated. Either way, Supernatural season 8 just gets fans excited and the wait for the premiere even longer. Can't wait for the Supernatural panel this Sunday since we'll see bits of a new episode and the new gag reel. God I love those gag reels. Below is a reminder of why we love Supernatural so much.
