Being nice or greedy?
Above is an image of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood from a Funimation player.
If you are a big anime fan and watch it all on Youtube, you would have noticed that Funimation now has a youtube channel. Not only that but a video channel located on their very own website. On a side note, if you want good video quality, watch it on Youtube, cause Funi's player sucks out loud. Sure it is always there and allows to watch anything, its just horrible player to use.
Recently Funimation has been posting episodes of their tv shows online (this just didn't start now), but is this a action of kindness or greed? The most obvious is Greed, but we can pretend they are being nice for once since they Really price their goods. On the bright side, when Funimation does post the episodes on Youtube, people can rip them off there and get free anime! Ah yes, I like that word, FREE. Another advantage is that you can watch it for free and reducing the searching process down (which could take awhile).
But in the end, they are hoping people like the anime so much that they will go out and buy it. That is the whole idea behind posting these videos. Nothing more, nothing less. After all, companies are only out to do one thing, make money. I'm just hoping Funimation isn't truly like that.
