Man of Steel- First Trailer Release

Its only natural to see after the success of The Dark Knight Rises that the next DC film begins to show itself. This weekend, Man of Steel, another Superman reboot, trailer hit the internet giving us a glimpse of the tone and characters of the upcoming movie.

From the looks of the trailer, Man of Steel is following the tread now of changing the story surrounding Clark Kent. Like they're trying to be different from the previous attempt, Superman Returns. That movie was not a disaster, but since they are remaking Superman again, it probably didn't connect with the right audience. It seems like Warner Brothers is trying to create a fan base for the Superman franchise like Batman did. The question is, can it be like Christopher Nolan's Batman franchise? Well I guess it helps that Nolan is producing and writing for Man of Steel.

You can get a feel for the Man of Steel with the trailer below. Keep in mind that its a teaser and it just gives you a glimpse of Henry Cavill's Clark Kent and the voice of Kevin Costner as Johnathan Kent. Plus a promise of a storyline of Clark on a boat? Ah who knows, we can expect to see a real trailer around Christmas time. The question is, are you excited to see Man of Steel, or you want to see where the trailers go and decide if you're going to see it when its released in 2013. Another thought, will DC try to do with this movie that Marvel's Iron Man did and step up a foothold for the Justice League? Trailer below.
