Let's Put A Name To That Face: Mitch Pileggi

Mitch Pileggi is an American actor who has had a late start to his career. He originally didn't start out as an actor despite doing some acting in high school. For a few years, Pileggi worked as a defense contractor in Turkey until the Iran revolution. A few years after escaping to Greece, Pileggi resurfaced presumably in America, and in 1982 he first appeared in Mongrel as Woody. He even made a guest appearance on The A-Team in 1985.

In 1994, Pileggi got his big break when he landed a role in The X-Files as Walter Skinner. His role in The X-Files soon made him a sci-fi alum. After The X-Files, Pileggi landed roles in Tarzan, The Mountain, and Daybreak. In 2005, he earned the recurring role of Colonel Steven Caldwell in Stargate Atlantis, and would appear in 22 episodes throughout the series' run. Since then he has made appearances on shows like Castle, Sons of Anarchy, Medium, Supernatural, and Leverage.

Nowadays he is still making appearances on tv shows. He recently had a recurring role on Grey's Anatomy as Larry Jennings. He also made appearances on shows like The Finder and Dallas. Although we can expect to see Mitch Pileggi to make more television appearances in the future. Below is a clip of him in The X-Files.
