Supernatural Spoilers: Sam Gets New Love Interest

Supernatural is slowly coming out of hibernation after finishing up its season finale in May. Soon, fans can find spoilers hitting the net for their beloved tv show. So I have decided to do my own Supernatural Spoiler Wednesdays in order to collect all the spoiler news I can find.  Just a quick reminder, Supernatural is now airing on Wednesdays at 9pm on the CW. Supernatural also has a new showrunner in Jeremy Carver who previously wrote episodes of Supernatural. With this move in days, I might have to move my Supernatural review days around to a day like Thursday or Friday.

So last week, the first official Supernatural spoiler spread across the net. Jeremy Carver's first order of business was to cast a new love interest for Sam. Yes, Sam is getting another love interest, but the questions is, how long will she last? It has been mentioned that she will be named Amelia and she is a doctor. Amelia will be brave, sweet, smart and sarcastic, and will be affected by a personal tragedy and initially unsure what to make of Sam.

In addition to that, it has reached my attention that Jensen Ackles will also be directing this episode which is currently titled, Heartache. Which is a bit funny since Jensen also directed last season's The Girl Next Door, which also dealt with Sam's past flame Amy. Although I think I speak for all the fans when I say that I think Jensen will do well again with this episode. I just hope the episode is written better than The Girl Next Door. Last week, Jensen was up in Vancouver scouting for locations to shoot, and the shooting the episode should take place some time this week. My guess is tomorrow since today is a American holiday.

More information about the episode itself has also been leaked to Zap-In's site. The site reports that the episode is about Sam investigating grisly murders that seem to be related to the Occult. It has also been reported that this case will involve a stripper. Although it is unknown whether or not Dean is still in Purgatory or not.

More information will be coming out over the weeks up to October 3rd, Supernatural's premiere. There is also Comic Con and Supernatural is returning there on July 15th in H hall. Meaning we can except people leaking the gag reel and clip of the episode (which should be shown at the panel) online to curb our carving for Supernatural.
