Puss In Boots Fights a good Fight
We all know the Shrek movie franchise, and now Puss in Boots gets his chance to shine. The main question here, it is something worth watching? Does it target a specific audience? What are the pros and cons.
Overall, Puss in Boots is a decent movie, and is enjoyable. Although, it is more targeted towards the more younger audiences and the laughs are more targeted towards them. There are a couple laughs here and here for the older viewers. As for the story it was simple, and gave some back story to Puss's childhood, and how he got his boots. It also shows how Puss doesn't want to let his adoptive mother down, so this becomes his motivation for his actions. On another note, Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, among other cast members did a good job voicing the characters which helped push the movie to its success. Cause no one likes bad voice acting (unless you are in love with Halo). Although what I would have liked to see is how Puss got to where he was when he met Shrek, but I guess thats too much.
In the end here my opinion, Puss in Boots is a good movie, but not the greatest despite its best effort. Its a kind of movie you can watch once and your good. Child will love it, Adults won't be brain numbed by the end of it. The movie is more of a rent kind of movie.
