So how did you all like The Girl Next Door? By the way, once again, there is a spoiler warning for those who haven't watched it. I mean it. This episode also, they are re-introducing the monster of the week formula.
Once again, Jensen Ackles directed the episode, and I believe he did a good job. The episode had its moments, along side its downfalls. There I said it. Get over it. The story the episode could have been better. Like it didn't explain at all how did Bobby escape? And where exactly was he? Although, glad Bobby is alive. I would have liked to see some more recovery time from their encounter. Cause Sam got a head injury, and seemed fine threes weeks later (but thats just me). There is the question of how the Leviathans figured out the Winchester's aliases. On a high note, loved the escape from the hospital scene. You could feel the tension and need to escape (good job Jensen). Another priceless moment is the pie scene. Dean asks wheres the pie and Sam responded by, "You got cake. Same thing right?" Haha, I haven't heard Dean ask for pie since like Season 4. I'm not going to give the rest of the story away. I should give props to Colin Ford and Jewel Staite of doing a good job. At the very end the episode did in a way set it self up for next episode, by when Dean goes behind Sam's back and killed Amy (sadly no doctor who reference).
In the next episode, Sam and Dean are against Osiris who is sending ghosts after people who have guilt. And who do we know has guilt? Dean. This is also the episode Jo returns, but as a ghost, and is sent after Dean. Should be an interesting episode. Oh, almost forgot, Sam will be acting as Dean's lawyer once Dean is put on trial. This is the first time since the Pilot (and if you count What Is And Never Should Be) that Sam is acting a lawyer. For those who remember, Sam was studying law in college before Dean recruited him to find John. Season 7, prove you can be just as great. Cause we would all would love a Season 8 (cross your fingers). For now heres a clip.
