Toronto and The Men Who Stare at Goats

Due to circumstances (got home REALLY late), I was unable to blog yesterday about what I did in Toronto. Despite being there a couple of times, I've never really explored and looked around in Toronto. At night, there are lights everywhere and in the town I live there is only a few. We also can see some stars in the sky unlike in Toronto. I feel like such a red neck in Toronto.

While I was there I went to see a movie, The Men Who Stare At Goats. Now isn't a stupid movie? Hell yeah! There are two finds of funny in a movie, there is retarded funny where they try very hard to make people laugh and then there is stupid funny where its so serious on dumb issues that its funny. This movie was Stupid Funny.

What made the movie have irony is the fact that they kept mentioning Jedi and they have the guy from Star Wars. That and the fact that everyone had at least heard of Star Wars and watched one of the new movies. So a good job on the casting of the movie. What the movie funny is the fact they were so serious about what they were doing. They truly believed they could walk though walls and have physic powers. Of course it does have a bit of swearing and butts. It has two plots that unfold in the movie, one is the current one with the reporter (McGregor) and the other that uncovers the First Earth Battalion AKA the Jedi. Yup, its something good to watch, but not the best.
