D. Gray Man dvd Release

Today, Funimation released D. Gray Man season 2 part 1 onto dvd. This set will hold the next 13 episodes in the D. Gray Man series. Unfortunately, they have only licensed the first 50 episodes out of the 103 episodes of the series. I really hope they dub the whole thing mostly because I LOVE D. GRAY MAN!!! At first I didn't like the cast of it but now I have come to love them and I think they do a good job.

So what is D. Gray Man about? So it is about a teenage boy named Allen walker with a cursed eye that can see the souls of the akuma. This cause him to dedicate his life to destroying Akuma (In japanese 'akuma' also means demon). Akuma are weapons created by the Millennium Earl and sent out by his command to purge the world from humans. In order to destroy Akuma, Allen uses his anti-akuma weapon which is his right arm, to stop the earl's plans. Under General Cross's orders, Allen goes to the Black Order where all the exorcists, others who have the power of innocence, gather and team up to fight against the Millennium Earl. There he meets Lenalee (user of the Dark Boots) , Kanda (Wielder of Mugen) and Komui (Brach cheif and Lenalee's brother). As the journey continues on more and more questions pop up as they try to achieve their goal. Will they be able to stop the Millennium Earl in time?

Even though the series has finished in Japan the manga is still going, but is in no rush. D. Gray Man is one of the well known animes out there and is a mixture of Bleach and other animes. It has it own unique qualities. Like Allen and his ways of cheating in gambling. Or Komui and his sister complex, which in the end makes pretty good episodes that makes you just laugh your butt off. So this part of the season is mainly about looking for General Cross cause do to earlier problems of generals being hunted down. Of course there are some side stories here and there but worth watching. They better dub the whole series............
