Boy in Hot Air Ballon

I believe it was this Friday when I came home that it was on the news that a boy had gotten into a hot air balloon that took off. Sources say that it was in the backyard of the house and the little brother of the boy that climbed saw him go in. The balloon itself floated up to 7,000ft and reached speeds of 25mph. News helicopters chased the balloon for an hour or so before it landed in Colorado? When rescue workers reached the site, the boy was not inside and a search for the boy started. It was later suspected that the boy fell from the Balloon, but at what height?

Now here is the stupid part. He was actually in the attic of his family home hiding from his parents in fear of punishment. He never got in the hot air balloon. His family on the other hand are no strangers to tv for they were on the TV show Wife Swap. When I was watching this on the news, they kept saying the same thing over and over again. They didn't find him for like two hours. You kinda wonder why the parents didn't check EVERYWHERE before assuming the worst. Because everyone put efforts into saving the boy and he was in the attic the whole time. I understand being worried about your child, but at least put some effort in before assuming the worst. There goes money and effort down the drain. Good job, parents!

Yay for bonus marks lol. Not blogging on a Sunday again.
