Doctor Who 'The Great Detective' Trailer and Minisode

It has been about two months since the first part of season 7 of Doctor Who finished up and said goodbye to the Ponds. So its time to bring the Christmas special to light as well as the official introduction to the new companion Clara. So in the UK, BBC releases these two clips during the annual Children in Need special to give the fans a little something to chew on while waiting for Christmas day to come with the new episode.

The first clip, the Minisode (hey Matt Smith called it that) which basically highlights the Doctor's attitude after losing the Ponds. Which is understandable since they meant so much to him.You can watch it below along with a little introduction from the Doctor himself and the new companion.



The next media released was a trailer for the Christmas special, which is titled The Great Detective. I love how it is quick to point out that this not the first episode to feature the new companion. Ah Doctor Who, never lose your humor. The trailer itself looks interesting as the Doctor has completely given up helping people and appears to be spending his days wandering. Future companion Clara, as it's looking will be the only one to pull the Doctor out of it and back into the game. You can check it out below.
