I am new Doctor Who fan and really can't wait for new material of Doctor Who to come out. Early today, BBC released the image above from the Christmas special coming our way in a month or so. Although I must say that this image doesn't tell us much, but I think its more a way to hold fans over until tomorrow when a preview will air for Children in need (or something like that). I have heard rumors that the Doctor Who special will be based on the novel "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". It would be hilarious if it was dubbed something along the lines of "The Doctor, the something (insert name here) and the Tardis". There is also some images on the net showing that Amy and Rory will appear again as the Doctor visits them. I wonder if the doctor's mother-in-law will like that (spoiler for those who haven't seen the Wedding of River Song).
Another thing that popped up this week is word that Doctor who is going to be made into a movie. Good or Bad? I'd rather they didn't. Sure they can explore elements that appeared in the earlier years of Doctor Who, but actors who have played the doctor have become iconic. So studios, before you think its a bright idea to make a movie off a tv show ask yourself, is it worth it enraging the army of fans? Think about it. Cause if you fail you'll piss them off more. I'll post the doctor who tomorrow, so later. But remember,
Bow Ties Are Cool.
