Funimation releases "Nabari No Ou" on Dvd today, September 22 2009.
Among of the many anime dvds released today, Nabari No Ou season 1 part1 hits the shelves. Now whats so special about Nabari no Ou? Well its the fact that its one of the few popular anime out there and most people (anime wise) have heard about it. Please keep in mind that not everything Funimation releases is a popular anime. A way to detect if an anime is popular or not is to google and/or youtube it. The more results pop up, means it out there pretty much.
But back on topic. Nabari no Ou is about a teenage boy named Rokujou Miharu who has a hijutsu (hidden technique) inside of him. Many clans of ninjas are seeking it out due to a rumor that says who possesses it will rule the world of Nabari (ninja world). His classmate Kouichi, starts up a ninja club with the English teacher Kumohira, try to persuade him to join the club. Secretly both Kouichi and Kumohira are real life ninjas (shocker there). Miharu tried to avoid joining the club but after being attacked by a ninja of ninjas, he joins the club. Now he must master the hijutsu inside him and become the ruler of Nabari.
I haven't watched the full anime yet and it only has 26 episodes I believe. I have read the manga though and its still going on now. I'm waiting on a update for manga. Also funimation had previously released the first four episodes and I gotta say the dub so far isn't that bad. I am looking forward to watching this anime and maybe getting the dvd.
