Supernatural just got a new showrunner this season and it has clearly took a turn for the better as season 8 is undoubtedly better than season 7 was. With it's move to Wednesdays, it is clear that the CW is putting it's faith in the fan favorite. Now Supernatural will be getting a ninth season and fans will get more of their favorite brothers.
As for Arrow, it was clearly a favorite of fans and critics. In addition it was one of the best shows to start out this season. With a strong main cast, and a good arc, Arrow proved that it was no Smallville filler, but a show in its own right. Whether your a DC fan or not, Arrow is still enjoyable to watch. Which is why Arrow will be getting a second season.
