Manga Library
It was announced this Thursday that Meji University plans to build a manga library will house manga, anime, games and other media in 2024. It aims to be a 5-story building, with 2.1 acres of floor space.
Thats really though, for anime fans like me, that gives us yet another reason to visit Japan some time in our lives. Can you even imagine how much manga will be there? New and Old. It would be a lot manga and that would be heaven on earth. Gotta give props to the person who taught this up. But what is the down side this plan? Well it will most likely cost a lot of money for all that manga and anime. Where will it come from? Or will there be donations? Either way you look at it someone has gotta pay for it and plus the employee's who will work there.
Now how about the idea of a manga library in North America? Is it even possible? It is a nice idea, but currently not a very good idea at all for Canada or the USA. In Canada, anime probably not as popular as it is in USA. We only have one recording studio in Vancouver. In the USA, they have many anime corporations. Such as Funimation, Bandai and Viz. But the USA is in debt, so not such a good idea. Maybe one day it will come possible, until then, its all your Japan!
